Flowers of the Dross
Even in the bleakest of places beauty can bloom. Imagine a world of metal. There is a swamp where the slag and oil gather and the machines go to die.
Unexpectedly, a place such as this is crawling with live, of sorts. Scavengers, giant monstrosities of metal and flesh roam the marsh.
But a glimmer of beauty sprouts, bringing a purple hue to this foul land. The flowers of the dross.
